The Rover Owners’ Club Inc. NSW & ACT exists to encourage interest in the preservation, restoration, maintenance and running of all types of vehicles designed and or manufactured by the Rover Company Limited, its predecessors and successors and to foster the continuance of the Rover marque.
Meetings are held in Sydney on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at the Veteran Car Club of Australia premises at 134 Queens Road, Five Dock. The meetings start at 8 pm, and usually consist of a general business meeting followed by a guest speaker or other appropriate entertainment, plus, of course, interesting exchanges of technical ideas and advice. The Club Library and Club Shop are regular features of our monthly meetings. A light supper is usually served after the meeting.
Club outings and activities take place both within the Sydney area and in regional areas of NSW and the ACT.
The Club comprises over 200 members. Owners, or drivers, of any Rover, Land Rover & Range Rover vehicle are welcome to join. The joining fee is $25.00, and the annual subscription is $35.00, a total of $60.00 for the first year. The club year runs from 01 January to 31 December. The subscription includes 11 issues of “Freewheeling”, the Club’s monthly PDF magazine distributed by email, and participation in the Club’s weekly “RoverNet” email information system. Access to either the NSW or ACT historic registration scheme is available to club members with compliant vehicles.
