There are many photographs take during club outings that do not appear in the club magazine. This page shows additional photographs, mostly of members, enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie that accompanies the club events. Why not join the club and feature in a photograph too. | ||
| During November 2011 the club members were privileged to tour the AirAg Hangar at Bankstown Aerodrome. The hangar contains several interesting aircraft which are being overhauled or having their regular maintenance check. Outside a Consolidated Catalina amphibian is being restored to a World War 2 configuation and will be delivered to the historic Rathmines Flying Boat base on Lake Macquarie. A truly unique opportunity arose when we were able to squeeze into the aircraft and appreciate just how cramped it must have been during those long patrols when these aircraft were in service with RAAF. | |||
